EXECUTING HIS WORD

Nelson Ligon founded Executing His Word in 1998 with the desire to help pastors motivate and equip their congregation to carry the Gospel to their neighbors, relatives, co-workers, and even strangers.

With over 25 years of taking the Gospel to the streets of America, Nelson’s teachings are packed with amazing testimonies on what he has seen God do. Each sermon or teaching is Biblically based and includes video presentations from actual evangelistic outreaches.

Our outreaches include secular rock concerts where we hand out bottled water, hot dogs and tracts to thousands of concert goers. Yearly we take a group to New Orleans during Mardi Gras and also at the end of July to help a local church evangelize in their community. Additionally, we have taken the church to the unchurched at apartment complexes and local events.

In the last 10 years we have seen many come to Christ and have prayed with thousands. We have endless testimonies on how God has rescued individuals from certain destruction; not just eternally but also from situations that seemed hopeless.

It has been tremendously encouraging watching God over the years develop new laborers for the harvest field. Speaking at local churches, we have seen the Lord spark a fresh awareness of the need for all of us to share our faith with nonbelievers. While we realize that not everyone is called to be an evangelist, all believers are called to be His witness.

Our mission is to Equip, Motivate and Change the World. Our primary purpose is to get you, your group or congregation sharing their faith in their everyday lives. NELSON LIGON

Nelson Ligon, a 25+ year veteran of the ministry, is the founder of Executing His Word. Nelson received a B.A. from the University of Miami, and has done graduate work with Easter Baptist Seminary in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and Southwest Baptist in Ft. Worth Texas.

His experience include; taking small groups to the streets of Dallas, leading groups at Mardi Gras in New Orleans, training individuals through Evangelism Explosion ministries, starting a “church within a church” for the unchurched, starting a runaway center for teenagers in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, organizing outreaches at secular concerts, working with local church organizations.

He has written Executing His Word, a personal training manual for every Christian interested in witnessing and sharing their faith in Christ Jesus. EHW also provides a personal evangelism training conference, called Strategies of War, for local churches interested in carrying out the great commission.
