As you watch this video, you should become strongly aware that;

1. If you desire to find a place to share your faith, this outreach provides an excellent opportunity.

2. Many in our nation are searching for something that will buy them peace and joy. Our job is to direct them to the Prince of Peace.

One of my frustrations has always been, “If only the world could experience true worship, then they would experience God and be drawn into His presence.” Well, that is exactly what happened. Hundreds were leaving to find their cars and yet were drawn over to us because of the worship that was taking place. There were quite a few people that allowed us to pray with them and a few who gave their lives to the Lord.

As the worship continued, people kept coming up to us asking what was in the hot chocolate we were serving. They really thought it was spiked. This was a book of Acts experience as we had to explain to them just like Peter did in Acts when he said, “These men are not drunk with wine.”

One young man was so overwhelmed by the presence of God that he literally left his friends to join with us in worship. His friends kept telling him that they were leaving and that he needed to come or they we’re going to leave him there. He did not care. He remained with us till the end of the concert and ended up staying at the Victory Home for the night.

Many times we try to make it easy for someone to get saved. However, the Bible is very clear that Christ requires us to “take up the cross and follow Him. ” This young man lived in Denton and had no idea what he was going to do when his friends left him. The presence of God was so real that he could not pull himself away. He will never be the same again! It is truly an amazing experience to serve God and then to see Him show Himself to those that seek.

Today, Deep Ellum is no longer the “spot” that it used to be; however, what a blessing it was to serve Christ when it was.

The blasphemy can be seen in this video by the men carrying a “golden calf”, mockery of the church and the 10 Commandments, and the promotion of the forbidden fruit.

While these actions can be upsetting, we must look past them and reach out to those who mock the Lord. They may not listen, but we must tell them.

“I WAS FOUND BY THOSE WHO DID NOT SEEK ME,
I BECAME MANIFEST TO THOSE WHO DID NOT ASK FOR ME.”

This was the first of many times in the metroplex that we saw such a unity among the approximately 70 participants who came together from various denominations with one purpose: to share the love of God. We passed out over 3,000 tracts, prayed with literally 100’s of people, gave out over 800 hot dogs and bottled waters, and most important of all, witnessed several people give their lives to Christ. One young man who we met early in the evening, prayed with us to rededicate his life to Christ and then began handing out tracts about Jesus!

It’s so exciting to see God’s power where many Christians would least expect it. Many of these concert goers are not thinking about God at all and then all of a sudden “BANG”; they have an encounter with God.

Every Summer we organize several outreaches for secular concerts, like this one, that are held in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Christians from churches around the metroplex join together and share the Gospel with many who would never enter a church building. We hand out tracts, hot dogs and bottled waters while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with thousands.

During these outreaches we encounter many children who are being abused or neglected. We have seen the Lord rescue many children from horrifying situations. Join us as we set to prove that His word is true.
