The Blessings of Serving God – Testimony

After our trip to New Orleans during Mardi Gras in March, Janice took some time to share what the Lord did in her life, while we were traveling and when she returned home. Her testimony is pure evidence of how God cares for us and how He works in our lives so that we may spend our time and energy working for him. I hope that her words encourage each of us to respond with faith when the Lord calls us into action.

For many years a group of us went down to Deep Ellum, near downtown Dallas, in order to share the Gospel. Every time we went, we had divine appointments with many who had no understanding of who Jesus really is.

Today, Deep Ellum is no longer the spot that it used to be; however, what a blessing it was to serve Christ when it was. If you would like to join or support us, let us know and we will keep you informed on upcoming outreaches.

Stressed Out? Here’s Why

The American concept of God is far from the truth of the Bible. God doesn’t allow excuses for sin and He is still too holy to fellowship with a perverse generation. We must pray that our nation wakes up and that even when we are distressed, we will turn to Him. God has a great plan and purpose for each of us, but holiness is the foundation of it all.

This video was filmed at one of our summer concert outreaches and illustrates the validity of the scriptures as the Apostle Paul quotes the prophet Isaiah in Romans 10:20;

“I have been found by those who did not seek me;
I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.”

This was the first of many times in the metroplex that we saw such a unity among the approximately 70 participants who came together from various denominations with one purpose: to share the love of God. We passed out over 3,000 tracts, prayed with literally 100s of people, gave out over 800 hot dogs and bottled waters, and most important of all: witnessed several people give their lives to Christ.

For many of these concert goers God is the furthest thing from their minds and yet all of a sudden “BANG”; they have an encounter with God. As an example, one young man who we met early in the evening, prayed with us to rededicate his life to Christ and then began handing out tracts about Jesus!

It is so exciting to see God’s power where many Christians would least expect it. We have seen the Lord change lives right before our eyes. If you would like to join or support us, let us know and we will keep you informed on upcoming concert outreaches.

Hearing the Voice of God

God wants us to hear His voice. If we’re born again, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in us. He wants to speak to us and give us instruction and wisdom. It is imperative that we fellowship with God, sit at the feet of Jesus and hear His voice so that we can share His gospel with the world.

Executing His Word has helped local churches organize apartment complex outreaches where we take the church to the unchurched. We primarily focus on low income neighborhoods where many do not have the ability to “go” to church.

During these outreaches we encounter many children who are being abused or neglected. We have seen the Lord rescue many children from horrifying situations. Join us as we set to prove that His word is true.
