Join us for a training conference to sharpen your ability to effectively share the Gospel with a non-believing nation.

Classes are taught by Nelson Ligon and associates of Executing His Word Ministry who are actively involved in personal evangelism.
This conference will refresh and encourage those working in the harvest fields, as well as equip those who have not. Rescue the Perishing can be set up in multiple formats to accommodate your church. Whether you have an all day event or a half day, the conference will end with a prophetic word for those in attendance; as a group and, in some cases, individually. This prophetic word will prepare our hearts for the tasks that the Lord is setting before us. Following this word, an opportunity will be provided to surrender to His call.

Personal Evangelism Training Conference

Let us bring our training conference to your church. These three powerful sessions are designed to help you become the witness God is calling you to be.

Session I: Executing His Word

Romans 9:28 For the Lord will execute His word on the earth, thoroughly and quickly.

This session will explore the tragedies and destruction taking place throughout America, and the need for a church to rise up and do something about it. We examine the questions of today, such as:

  • What would cause a mother to murder her children?
  • What is the reason behind teenagers shooting up a school?
  • Why are terrorists on a mandate from their god to kill and destroy as many Americans as possible?
  • Why are there so many deranged men who are stalking, kidnapping and murdering young single women?
  • How can the average Christian actually do something about all the terror and destruction taking place in our world?

This opening session includes the following: 1) A fresh Biblical look at the role of individual believers as we attempt to prevent future tragedies. 2) A powerful and graphic video presentation, compiled from specific outreaches, which will help illustrate the war for souls that is currently taking place. 3) The testimony of a supernatural experience I had over 15 years ago, where I became aware of how the Lord will use His people to overcome the destructive strategies of the enemy. The first meeting is designed to help spark a new and fresh commitment among believers to become a witness for Christ and to show how the average Christian can be used by God to see the life of a non-believer be changed- right before your eyes.
Session II: Teaching Faith Where There is No Faith

Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

We will examine in this session basic principles of personal evangelism and discuss questions such as:

  • Can someone get saved who does not have any interest in God?
  • How do you start a conversation about Jesus?
  • What questions should you ask others that will help you determine their spiritual condition?
  • Can you share the gospel and the truth about hell without coming across as a condemning and self-righteous bigot?

This session will include: 1) Basic Biblical principles and scripture that you will be able to immediately incorporate in your daily life. 2) A video presentation of a real encounter with God that 3 young people experienced who were not even looking for God. 3) The remarkable testimony of my encounter with a man on the street named Hezekiah Israel. You will learn how God used this street person to help me understand the answer to two very important questions: a. How can we effectively communicate to others that we know, without a doubt, that we are saved and going to Heaven? b. What is the real reason why so many people in America do not believe in Jesus? This second session is designed to illustrate how God can use all of us to share the Gospel. You will see the powerful impact of God’s word with those in our community who do not know how they can have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Session III: The Window of Opportunity

Ephesians 5:15-16 Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil.

Colossians 4:5 Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity.

Our nation needs a spiritual revival like never before. This session will explain how critical it is for Christians to take advantage of the open doors that God is providing His church. We will examine how we need to be ready and equipped to deal with those individuals that God desires to send our way. This session covers questions such as:

  • How can we arrange our busy lifestyle to include becoming a witness for Christ?
  • What are some of the religious distractions that prevent Christians from sharing their faith with non-believers?
  • Why do so many believers make excuses for not being a witness?
  • What will happen to America if we continue to delay our individual responsibilities?

This third session will include:

1) The Biblical mandate for all believers to become determined to bear fruit

2) Question and answer period

3) A video presentation with an emotional and vivid examination of the overwhelming hunger for God that exists outside the church walls.

4) Several dramatic testimonies of lives that have been changed because of individual, everyday Christians who made a decision to answer the call.

This final session is designed to allow individuals make a fresh commitment to be His witness. Time will be allowed for prayer and individual ministry to all who are interested.

About this ministry Executing His Word is a faith-based ministry whose primary purpose is to teach Christians how to effectively share their faith. We are also engaged in numerous evangelistic outreaches throughout the year as well.
