As disasters continue to hit our nation, our prayers go out to those in Joplin, Mo. who faced the nation’s deadliest single tornado in almost six decades. Missouri and Alabama, where we visited two weeks ago, are left with an incredible challenge as they mourn over their loss and attempt to rebuild. Our prayer is that many of God’s servants will answer the call and enter the harvest fields of Joplin.
While there is great need to provide food, shelter, and medical supplies (listed below are ways you can help); Missouri is in need of something law enforcement officers, the National Guard, and the federal government will not address: the life changing message of Jesus Christ. If you believe the Lord is calling you to Joplin, we do have friends who are headed that way immediately. To hook up with fellow laborers in Joplin just let us know and we will give you further information.
Help Support The Work Of Pastor Anthony Anderson
Executing His Word remains committed to leading believers into these areas where disaster strikes through our Rescue and Recovery operations. However, the Lord has directed that we serve the needs right here in the metroplex by partnering with Pastor Anthony Anderson this Saturday, May 28.
Pastor Anthony Anderson has spent over 10 years in South Dallas ministering to young and old alike against the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse and to those who have found acceptance in gangs (read here and here about Anthony’s work with the Pop Warner Football program). Executing His Word is teaming up with Pastor Anthony Anderson to take the Gospel to the neighborhood surrounding the new Victory Home Pastor Anthony recently opened.
This all day event will include:
- Worship with Matt Daniels
- Testimonies from individuals who have experienced the liberating Power of the Blood of the Lamb
- A barbeque cookout for the neighborhood
- Door to door, person to person, evangelism throughout the community
We are expecting the Lord to provide many divine appointments with those who are struggling and losing hope. Come join us this Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm at 766 Havenwood, Dallas, Texas (located in the neighborhood off I-35 E., down by Camp Wisdom and Polk Street).
I am additionally asking that those associated with Executing His Word to pray about bringing a love offering for Pastor Anthony and his new evangelistic outreach center. If you are not able to attend but would like to help financially, you may donate through Executing His Word and we will get your gift to him.
